OUR PERSPECTIVE:
We regard management as an art and a science. It has both strategic and behavioral (organizational and personal) aspects. It is a matter of system as well as style…
Origin and nature of problems in management are either hierarchic or cyclic. Solutions can be either systemic or symptomatic.
We regard financial results as the outcome of current management practices. Thus, mere financial measures in dealing with chronic management problems are unlikely to be effective and to yield favorable results. In other words, financial problems are the tip of the iceberg and the root causes for financial distress usually lie with operational practices. That is, if time (process and/or activity time), cost and quality parameters are suffering in operations, consequences will become apparent in financials imminently. If problems persist, it implies chronic structural and/or systemic problems in the organization, which are usually strategic and/or behavioral in their origin. Each layer of problem – from financial to strategic/behavioral – manifest itself with a lag time. Thus, dealing with strategic and/or behavioral problems – which become apparent in the long term – require a deeper and broader perspective.

OUR PRACTICE:
We help organizations to clarify strategic, organizational and systemic issues/concerns; provide guidance for better management and governance…
We ask questions pertaining to the practice of management that are closely related to the interrelationship among strategy, structure and systems. The quality, efficiency and effectiveness of this relationship is grounded in our ability to understand the essential domains of management. We aim to establish these domains with an emphasis on optimization and balance of policy making, execution and audit functions that are essential for sound management and governance.
MCV provides guidance for:
- Value generation
- Competitiveness
- Sustainability
As organizations grow, the need for a holistic and collaborative approach to manage and govern becomes inevitable. A strategic, scientific, creative frame of reference and systems approach is necessary and sufficient to satisfy that need.
